The CEFEG team on tour again!

This time we traveled to the beautiful Allgäu region to Otto Bihler Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG. We have been working closely with the company for many years and are always delighted to be able to take a look inside its magical halls.

At the end of May, we once again took the opportunity to send part of the CEFEG team to the headquarters of the Allgäu-based system supplier.

Among them: Managing Director Dr. Denise Klinger, Senior Manager Hans-Georg Reichel, Purchasing Manager Anne Weingardt, Toolmaking Manager Jeanette Winkler and our Head of HR & Marketing Madeleine Reichel. The tour group arrived in Hopfen am See on Tuesday evening in beautiful weather. Over dinner with Michael Büchl (Technical Sales) and Maximilian Mohaupt (Regional Sales), the first technological topics were discussed in depth and shared experiences were philosophized about.

The next day started with a short tour of the plant in Füssen before heading to the headquarters in Halblech.

Jeanette Winkler took the opportunity to discuss processes, technologies and workflows in toolmaking in detail. Michael Büchl gave an overview of the competencies and possibilities of Bihler technologies for the “newcomers” to the CEFEG team. After lunch together and a tour of Halblech, various technology topics, retrofit measures in the machine park and the use of the Bihler Cockpit were discussed in the afternoon. Mathias Bihler also took the opportunity to join the discussion in the afternoon.

We then returned to Chemnitz with many new impressions and ideas. “Every time I visit Bihler, I am impressed by the hospitality and the pleasant atmosphere. The technology and the variety of products manufactured are always fascinating. There is also something new to discover every time I visit,” sums up Dr. Denise Klinger.

Many thanks dear Bihler team and especially to Michail and Max for the intensive support and the interesting exchange.
