- New tool construction: You will be responsible for the new construction of punching and bending tools according to the drawing specifications of our internal design department.
- Tool installation: You will install the finished tools in our production machines, set them up and accompany them through to safe production.
- Repair and maintenance: You will be responsible for the repair, maintenance and overhaul of tools in the punching, bending and progressive die area.
- Assembly: You will assemble individual assemblies on presses and stamping and bending machines.
- Machine operation: You will operate our tool-relevant machines through mechanical processing such as grinding, milling and turning.
- Support in the production process: You look after tools and their condition in the ongoing production process and are responsible for the production and processing of spare parts if required.
- Testing and measuring tasks: You will carry out simple testing and measuring tasks independently.
The apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years, after which you will be able to specialize further.
