Tool mechanic (m/f/x)

We at CEFEG GmbH are a medium-sized company from the Chemnitz region and manufacture a wide range of metal products for national and international customers. Around 130 employees support our partners from the idea to series production – starting with the design of a tool, through its manufacture and construction, to the production of precise and accurately fitting components with exactly this tool – all from a single source.

We combine the tradition of an owner-managed company with innovation and exciting new projects in the automotive industry, electrical engineering, electronics and mechanical engineering.

We are currently looking for fresh talent to support our toolmaking department. You now have the opportunity to become a part of the CEFEG team and a part of our success story.

Your tasks:

• You will be responsible for the new construction of punching and bending tools according to the drawing specifications of our internal design department.
• You will install the finished tools in our production machines, set them up and accompany them through to safe production.
• You will be responsible for the repair, maintenance and overhaul of punching, bending and progressive die tools.
• You will assemble individual assemblies on presses and stamping and bending machines.
• You will operate our tool-related machines through mechanical processing such as grinding, milling and turning.
• You will look after tools and their condition during the ongoing production process and will be responsible for the manufacture and processing of spare parts if required.
• You will carry out simple testing and measuring tasks independently.
• Perspective: You will be responsible for managing the tool maintenance team, including team organization.

Our requirements:

• Completed vocational training as a tool mechanic, preferably specializing in stamping and forming technology
• Knowledge of mechanical processing such as grinding, turning, milling
• Ability to work independently and high quality awareness
• Experience with Bihler machines or Bruderer presses is desirable
